Gethin Jones, CEO and co-founder of CAMS, brings nearly 30 years’ experience in the industry in engineering and R&D management roles, working with organic and microbial detection, including air sampling and continuous monitoring.

He is a recognised authority on the subject, and in addition to his role as CEO at CAMS, Gethin is often in demand for interviews and keynote presentations on the subject of environmental monitoring and identification of viables.

For those who aren't familiar with the pronunciation of Swedish names, Kjell is pronounced like the word "shell". He is Swedish by birth, and has been UK based since 1978.

His track record in environmental monitoring is exemplary, having worked with 3M, Abbott Labs, and Biotrace, amongst others, mostly in leadership roles around pharmaceutical, diagnostic, food safety, and sterile services divisions. He has vast knowledge and experience of the world of environmental monitoring, which he brings to bear on the challenges faced by our customers as they address the changes that Annex 1 demands.
